THE REAMPING PROCESS

1. PROJECT PLANNER

Fill out the project planner below and get a free quote within 24 hours. The form will provide me with enough information to give you a general idea of cost for your project.

2. UPLOAD YOUR FILES

Send your consolidated audio stems using a large file transfer service like WeTransfer, DropBox or HighTail. Zip all files into a single archive and include a rough mix printed from the current version of the song.

3. RE-AMPING

After I receive your files, I'll set to work re-amping your tracks. Turnaround time varies depending on the size and complexity of the project, but is typically 2 to 3 business days.

4. PREVIEW AND REVISIONS

When the files are ready, I upload a high quality copy of your tone for you to evaluate. I encourage clients to listen to the files in as many environments as possible. Make detailed notes of any changes you want me to make.

5. DOWNLOAD THE FINAL TONES

Once you approve a final tone, I will send you the high quality WAV files of your new tones.

LOSE THE DIGITAL TONES!

Transform your recordings and bring some life to your mixes. In a world of digital simplicity and generic tones you can't replace the warmth and feel of analog equipment. Take your guitar and bass tones to the next level with our heads, cabinets, pedals and analog processing.

Frequently asked questions

Should I send you references?

Absolutely! Make sure to include enough material that is similar in genre or style to yours. This will provide a better understanding of the type of sound, dynamics and overall tone you’re going for.

Is there a specific genre you work with?

I spent many years in the profesional Metal world and specialize in anything resemlbing the genre. However, what I create for my clients isn’t bound by genre. I’ve worked across many genres and I can bring that experience and sound to your next project.

Do you offer special rates for Albums?

Absolutley, that is something we can discuss. Please fill out the Project Planner and explain your needs!

How long is your turnaround time?

This depends on the capacity of your project. Singles with only one or two instruments to re-amp usually take between 2-3 days.

How do I prepare my files for re-amping?

I reccomend well performed and recorded dry signals, WAV file types in 44.1khz 24bit sample rate, with at least 6-10db of headroom. This gives us the option to use digital amp modeling (Kemper, Helix, Etc.) of tones you have created, in conjunction with our tube amp heads and power sections if desired. Label your files into catagories (Guitar 1, Guitar lead, bass, etc.) ZIP your files into a single folder and email me your folder using a file transfer servies such as WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.

How do I book my project with you?

Feel free to fill out the project planner above this FAQ to discuss your expectations and goals. We’ll chat about what your project entails such as creative goals, instrumentation, individual roles, number of songs, and we’ll discuss scheduling and pricing. When you’re ready to move forward, we’ll plan a timeline and send you an invoice.

Do you offer revisions?

Yes, you are allowed 1 set of revisions on your re-amped tones. I encourage you to be as concise and specific in your original direction and revision feedback as possible. There's an additional charge for any further revisions.

Where are you located? Can I come into the studio for re-amping?

I'm located in San Antonio TX, and encourage those who are able to come in on the day of tracking. If you have any gear you'd like to use or is signature to your sound please feel free to bring it in!
